Jewish Wedding Photography: Ilana & K’vod

The intimate, tradition filled, heart warming wedding of Ilana & K’vod was a pleasure to be part of!  Their quaint ceremony took place in the courtyard of Ner Tamid Synagogue overlooking the beautiful San Diego Poway hills, with their reception that was filled with spirited music and dancing in the Synagogue ballroom. It was an a delight to see the love that Ilana & K’vod shared on their wedding day, and the beauty of fulfilling all the amazing Jewish wedding traditions.  Everyone in attendance of this lovely wedding should have been filled with joy from such a touching wedding.

K’vod is the new Rabbinic Intern at Temple Beth El of South Orange County in case he looked familiar to you. He is wearing the traditional attire for a Jewish Groom, called a Kittel.  The white color symbolizes purity just like the bride, as well as the beginning of a loving new life together with his bride. Thought we would share this morsel of information with you because learning about the traditions of wedding from around the world is what makes each wedding so intriguing and unique.
