We had the honor of photographing Connor’s stunning Bar Mitzvah at the Monarch Beach Resort Dana Point CA. The Chisick family was so welcoming and we had a great time with them for both days of Connor’s celebration. We started photographing Friday afternoon for a family photo shoot and then stayed for Friday night services at the hotel. The entire premise of taking the religious portion of the Bar Mitzviah to a convenient location a hotel where you can do everything in one spot we feel is absolutely genius. For you have the option of bringing your favorite Rabbi and inviting only the people you love and want to share in your day to both your Friday night services and Shabbat Bat Mitzvah services. The intimate Friday night services were in a small room in the main hotel and it was so quaint and touching, it truly felt special to be part of such an intimate ceremony.
The Saturday Bar Mitzvah services were held on the grand Botanical Lawn overlooking the golf course with panoramic stunning view of the ocean. This was a seriously inspiring and breathtaking location to have all your guest come out to. Connor did an excellent job with his Torah reading and binning attention to himself in the midst of such grandeur. After services guest went straight into cocktail hour on the lawn, and then simply walked up to nights celebration at Club 19 within the Monarch Beach Resort formally know as the St. Regis, Monarch Beach and recently changed. Once the party got started everyone enjoyed themselves with amazing food, good music, and a great positive vibe of everyone having fun. This was a wonderful Bar Mitzvah and we would love to see more like this!
