Having a Bar Mitzvah is always significant, but being able to have your B’nai Mitzvah with your siblings by your side the entire time must make the B’nai Mitzvah process that much more special! Knowing that you do not have to stand in front of everyone alone, and have someone going through exactly what you are going through must be so amazing. These three as a team and individually did amazing during their torah reading at University Synoguge Irvine. You could see the entire family was so filled with pride and joy for them, and it was a true honor for us to see and be a part of this very special day.
The super fun and fabulous party was at the historic and beautiful Harborside Restaurant and Grand Ballroom. Harborside is on Balboa Island Newport Beach and was built in1906, and for OC that is historic, and the charm that this historic area brings is truly one for a kind and an absolute joy to photograph. Balboa Fun Zone is know for its old school vintage carnival vibe and the decor for the event was translated from that idea into the most elegant cross of modern and vintage carnival chic we have ever seen. Every last detail was perfect and the Trachtman’s and the amazing With Fresh Eyes team have to be congratulated for a job well done. Now this party was not just a pretty space, it was actually all about having fun! We can honestly say that everyone at this event had a blast and danced the night away, especially the Trachtman’s that showed us how to keep it going on the dance floor!
Funny story if you can not tell the Trachtman’s are a tall family, and during the hora Jake went up in the chair and in his excitement put his hands up in the air and knocked out a square panel in the ceiling, so the rest of the night the hole in the ceiling was there as a reminder of how much fun he was having. Another super cool aspect of this hora was the chair. If you notice it is a custom made chair that you can hold on to the handles and not fall out of, and it has round bars around it so many people can assist in the lifting. We have seen many horas and this is the safest and most effective chair we have ever seen. Big props to the Trachtman’s for creating such a great chair!
